The 2019 STEMship program has reached the halfway point with industry visits and work-placements in some of the region’s leading Advanced Manufacturing, and Defence Industry support organisations completed.
The students enjoyed their work-placement activities during the October TAFE holidays, and have now returned to TAFE to continue study. Many are already applying for Apprenticeships in various trades with a couple already offered Apprenticeships to commence in 2020.
A graduation and presentation evening will be held on Tuesday 10th December for parents, school careers advisors, Training Services NSW and industry to celebrate the completion of the course and showcase students’ learning.
