STEM Defence + Innovation is an activity of RDA Hunter’s Department of Defence funded ME Program and developed in partnership with The Business Centre to advance the innovation skills and capabilities of Hunter region students.

Developed in 2017, the activity has been successfully delivered in 2018, 2019 , 2020 and 2021. Defence Industry and Airforce mentors and judges from RAAF Base Williamtown have participated since the activities inception adding industry contextualisation, mentoring advice and student support.
